Well, this is unusual. Usually, Sue is the one that ends up waking up and coming out to the living room. I was reading a book and finally put my light out at about 3:30 and here it is 6:05 in the blessed am. Can’t sleep. Uncomfortable. Oh well. Maybe this is good. I can actually blog more than once a month!

As I said in the last blog, the house is starting to take shape. We stopped at Wally World yesterday, and picked up a few odds and ends that we still needed. I am still in shock that we actually have bought this house. We can do what we want with it. We don’t have to get anyone’s permission to do anything. For example, later today, Directv is coming out to install our satellite dish. We don’t have to get permission from a landlord to have it installed! I love it!

If we want ( and we do ) we can get a dog. As a matter of fact, we have already picked out the breed of dog to get. We are getting a Sheltie. We have done some reading on the breed, and we have friends who have one who is still pretty spry at 20. Long life for a dog!

Of course there is a downside to owning a house. I hooked up a hose in the back yard, only to find that I will need to replace the water faucet outside because it has a heck of a leak! Oh well.
